The heart does not close. It never can, but it can get blocked. Energy flows through the heart center and you can even feel when it becomes blocked.
Balance your mind and body with your breath. This breath work balances the right and left hemispheres of the brain and purifies the Nadis or energetic fields of energy on the right and left sides of the body, resulting in a balanced state in your body and mind. The breath or Prana is then able to flow freely. I will show you how to practice this breath work. It's a great breath work to do prior to meditating.

We all create stories in our minds about the past and the future. Learn when to access the past to move beyond it to more fully experience the present moment. Also learn to accept the past for what it was and learn from it rather than stay in a state of denial that keeps you stuck. Accept, forgive and live for today.
